Orientation week for first-year students:
Orientation week in the winter semester 2025 will be from the 15th to the 19th of September, 2025.
You can find the current information regarding the orientation week here. Please note that there may be changes, make sure to check in advance to any events. The overall plan however is set, and will stay true to the information on this website.
First year hotline winter semester 2025/2026
If any questions arise, about the placement tests or results, please feel free to contact us with your ID or your matriculation number at einstufungstest-wiso@hs-osnabrueck.de or under the number 0541 969-3900. Please note that the phone will be answered during the office hours as stated below.

IMPORTANT EVENTS PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF STUDIES
In the following degree programs, there are freshman events, which primarily take place in the preparatory week before the start of the studies. In these events, the freshmen receive important information for the start in their studies.
The Bistro Caprivi will reopen on the 15.09.2025.
There will be an informative event on the 19.09.2025 about complementary offers around studying. Afterwards the "Fachschaftsnachmittag" (faculty afternoon) will take place.
On the 22.09.2025, the matriculation ceremony will take place at the Osnabrück Halle (Schlo?wall 1-9, 49074 Osnabrück).

In the Business Administration and Management degree program, three first semester study groups will be admitted in winter semester 2024/25, each of which will be divided into two subgroups. There is a timetable for each group, which contains all compulsory courses for the first semester. You can register for one of the timetables or subgroups from the end of August.
